Age Care
The YMCA offers a licensed BEFORE and AFTER school program within the North Syracuse and Central Square School districts. The School Age Fun Club program reinforces positive values in a caring atmosphere. The children build confidence, trust, and positive values by making friends and taking part in group projects and activities where fair play, team work and responsibility are emphasized. Afternoon snack is provided. Registration is ongoing until program sites reach capacity. Care is also available for YMCA Fun Club participants on half days, vacation days and snow days. Care for children ages 5 - 10 years old is available at Allen Road Elementary, KWS Bear Road Elementary, Cicero Elementary, Lakeshore Road Elementary, Smith Road Elementary and Roxboro Road Elementary. Programs are held at each school.

Syracuse Middle School Fun Club
September 2008 - June 2009
Care for children ages 10 -13 years old is provided for Roxboro Road MS students. Roxboro Road MS School students will attend program at Roxboro Road Elementary School.
Monday – Friday Dismissal - 6:00 p.m.
Central
Square Fun Club
September 2008 - June 2009
Care for children ages 5 - 12 years old is provided for Brewerton Elementary, Central Square Intermediate, and Millard Hawk Primary. CSI students are bused to MHP.
Monday - Friday 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. and Dismissal - 6:00 p.m.

Kinder
Kids Club - After Kindergarten Care 2008-2009 (TOP)
At the YMCA we believe your kindergartner should have a safe, fun and nurturing environment to come to everyday. It is our goal to stimulate your child’s mind through various activities that promote creativity and foster social, emotional, & intellectual growth. This program services children who attend Allen Road Elementary, KWS Bear Road Elementary, Cicero Elementary, Lakeshore Road Elementary, Roxboro Road Elementary & Smith Road Elementary students.

Program Fee includes extended ½ Day Care, Full Day Care on School Vacation Days and Snow Days and a FREE YMCA Family Membership.
*Transportation from school is provided by the North Syracuse school district. Transportation arrangement deadline for the 2008 - 2009 school year is June 30, 2008.

Class runs September 8, 2008 - June 12, 2009
The YMCA offers a preschool program for 3-5 year olds either 2 or 3 days per week. Qualified teachers will provide a positive, stimulating environment that meets the emotional, physical and intellectual needs of each child. Kindergarten readiness skills are emphasized. The program runs at the North Area Family YMCA. Class size is limited.
Registration is ongoing beginning February 4, 2008 until classes fill.

Sweetheart Daycare Center (TOP)
For the times you can’t be there yourself, the YMCA is there to support your efforts in nurturing the healthy growth of your child. We provide safe, affordable, high-quality care so you can have peace of mind while you work to help your family succeed.
Family is the most important structure in a child’s life. At the YMCA, good child care is good family care. Staff members partner with parents and other caregivers to work together to help children grow healthy, happy and strong.
Child Care is provided Monday-Friday, 6:30AM-6:00PM for children 6 weeks through 5 years.
